Legend goes that the Lynx used to have a long tail. That silly Lynx was always getting it caught in something. Over years and years of evolution the tail got shorter and shorter. Today the tail is only about 5" in length.
The lynx is a solitary cat that haunts the remote northern forests of North America, Europe, and Asia. Lynx are covered with beautiful thick fur that keeps them warm during frigid winters. Their large paws are also furry and hit the ground with a spreading toe motion that makes them function as natural snowshoes.
These stealthy cats avoid humans and hunt at night, so they are rarely seen.
**This necklace features two Lynx tails. Each one is about 5" in length. This is a Lariat Necklace. I used Zebra Jasper beads 43" of them. The spacer beads are half silver quartz faceted beads and Thai silver bead caps. It's just a a fun necklace.
(I do not condone the killing of any animal for it's skin or tail.)
